Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential settings, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for clients. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional customer service while demonstrating strong organizational and cleaning skills. Prior experience in hospitality or residential cleaning is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of French is considered an asset. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding our standards of cleanliness and client satisfaction. This a contracted role and it will be required that you provide your own supplies.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and living areas
Manage laundry duties, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
Prepare and maintain supplies needed for cleaning tasks
Ensure all areas are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and clutter
Assist with light cooking or meal preparation as needed
Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and requirements
Organize work schedules efficiently to maximize productivity within designated timeframes
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client requests professionally and courteously
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness while adhering to safety protocols
High Level of understanding of booking software (Booking Koala)
Requirements
Proven experience in residential cleaning or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
Strong organizational skills and excellent time management abilities
Ability to communicate clearly in English; knowledge of French is a plus
Ability to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and thoroughly
Good interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence
Reliable transportation or access to reliable transportation for work assignments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
